The reason could vary. Your heater core, or your windshield could be leaking. However if you've investigated and havent found that to be the issue, I am currently working on a 94 Ram in my shop. I removed the seats and pulled the carpet, then took truck outside and hosed it down. I found the leak was coming from the third brake light. This leak would have been next to impossible to determine if I havent pulled the carpet. The carpet was wet in the front section of the cab, but with carpet out I found it was running down the inner channels of the roof and making it s way to the front of the cab without leaving the carpet in the back wet. So, that's where you may have a leak. If so, a very inexpensive gasket will fix your problem. Good luck!
