I understand from searching the internet for my 99 Caravan that they use cheap evaporators. however, when I went to replace the evaporator, seems all of the aftermarket coils are from China. i received two that were damaged in shipping, one cost $107 and one was ac/delco $167, also from China. I just paid $457 for a Chrysler core and it looks anything but cheap, well made, heavy duty made in usa, also comes w/expansion valve already on it. Just get the Chysler one to begin with, save the headache. Labor is going to cost me $669. js
Oil leaks because a seal has failed.
Anytime it leaks, and many manufacturers recommend replacement every 2 years.
Bank one fuel system lean. Test fuel pressure, check for vacuum leaks,
I have a '99 Dodge Caravan, and the WW pump is located at the bottom of the WW tank. I presume it is the same on a '96. But the problem I have is that I do not know how to remove the WW tank (it leaks badly). Any suggestions? 1999 Dodge Gr. Caravan WW pump is at the bottom of the WW tank accessed by removing right front wheel and wheel well plastic liner 1966 likely same.
It could be. It could also be a pump seal failure, or a crack in the trans case.
How to check for leaks on vacuum hoses for a dodge diesel
I have a Dodge Carivan. You should fill it up with water then check for leaks. It may be that you need a new hose. If so you can put on a new hose yourself. If you don't want to do that, you could take to some place like Pep Boys. They will check for leaks and put on a new hose if you need one.
If you do not have a leak then it must be going in the oil compartment in the engine. Therefore your head gasket is failing and if so you will know soon enough.
First undo them at the radiator, then follow them to the transmission and remove there. After fitting new ones, check for leaks then fill trans fluid to required level.
You do have a leak in the system and the best way to locate it will be by using a dye and a fluorescent light.......... The most common leak for this truck will be the evaporator in the dash....
That is condensation. This is normal.
Common causes are low brake fluid levels in the master cylinder reservoir, or air bubbles or leaks have been detected in the brake lines.
