The reason for asymmetrical breasts is really not known. There could be differences in blood flow, number of estrogen receptors, number of milk ducts, or hormone response. I could understand if the left one is larger since it would likely have more blood flow and more access to hormones and nutrients. However, like you asked, sometimes it is the right one that is bigger, thus contradicting that theory.
Slightly larger or considerably larger? There is going to be some variance, but if it is a lot bigger or has changed then get it looked at. They shouldn't change once you finish growing and cancer always has to be considered. Go to a doctor.
