a difficult environment is a place where it is hard to live in e.g. artic mountains and hot deserts
it becomes a place that is very hard for animals such as fish and aquatic plants to live because of lack of sunlight and algae takes up oxygen so nothing can live there
it wouldn't be the best place to live
we can live without humidity but it will be hard to breath for us.

Wallabies can live in the outback, but not all species do so. Rock wallabies are the most common types of wallabies found in the outback, although they are not restricted to the outback. Wallabies are also found in the mulga and mallee scrublands of the outback. The various species of swamp wallabies tend to be found in bushland closer to settled areas, and in coastal regions.
Coyotes are native to North America. They do not live in Australia.

Not all that many people live in the outback though, mainly miners and pastoral workers and their families. Many areas lack water and are fiercely hot in summer. Farmers (or rather, pastoralists) have lived in the outback for nearly two centuries although numbers have fallen steadily since WWII as small farms have been joined into larger spreads.
