The Caspian, Javan, and Bali tigers are extinct. Mainly because of poaching for body parts, and habitat destruction. There are six subspecies still around, though all are endangered.

Well, tigers are not extinct yet. But if we do not do something about it, they will. Tigers are endangered not extinct. Extinct means that there are no more of the animal left in the world. But some tigers are extinct like the Chinese tiger because people hunted them just for their hides and trapping. Some even for sport or overhunting. We have been destroying their rainforest and that is their habitat. That is another part of the problem. And fortunatley, it is illegal to hunt, trap, or for sport to the tigers.

There is a lot of deforestation going on around Sumatra (their habitat) this depletes the area for the tigers, people are also poaching them (Illegal hunting) for their various body parts like their claws teeth fur organs and other body parts on the black market, people are also hunting their prey, the tapir and other mammals like the wild pig so the Sumatran tiger has nothing to eat. When the tiger has no food to eat it has to hunt men so the villagers are forced to kill the tiger that is threatining them. Soon the area of Oceana will be flooded because of global warming, leaving the tigers with no space.
