reset! ok, first press both the top power/lock button and then the bottom button that has a square hold for 10 seconds then release if still not responding plug it to the computer and restore it

∙ 11y agoI am able to initially navigate across the screen but after 10to 15 seconds, the screen may (I say may because it is 50/50) become unresponsive. I have to reset the screen before I can interact with it again. I have tried restarting the phone. I have cleaned the screen appropriately. I have even done a factory reset. The problem persists. This phone is out of warranty so I cannot get a replacement from Verizon. Any suggestions?

I got a brand new LG Optimus and within a week the screen was not responding to touch. The only thing to help is turn it off for a while or take out the battery and fingers crossed it works again. No guarantee though. The phone is brilliant, but cost cutting let the phone down with it's screen. Hope this helps :-)
