I did some quick research, and from a BUNCH of other opinions, (from ALL around the internet), I guess the 13 berries stand for either the:
13 colonies,
or the 13 powers... (I don't get this one.)
So, there's your... questionable answer. Have a good day. :)
The eagle on the US dollar bill faces to its left because its left talon grasps an olive branch, a symbol of peace. The right talon holds a cluster of arrows, a symbol of war.
Right talon 13 arrows representing war left talon olive branch with 13 leaves representing peace
The thirteen leaves are those of an olive branch, a traditional symbol of peace. The 13 leaves on the olive branch symbolize the original 13 colonies. The 13 arrows represent the potential threat to their freedom. The eagle faces the olive branch representing the United States' desire of peace. However, the country always stands ready to fight if necessary.
The symbol of America, the Eagle appears on the $1 Dollar note and is holding; Left talons : 13 arrows, representing war. Right talons : Olive branch with 13 olives, representing peace.
In one talon the eagle clutches arrows (representing war) and in the other talon an olive branch (representing peace) The eagles head is turned facing the olive branch to represent peace. I read somewhere that in the oval office there is actually a carpet brought out in times of war that has the eagle head facing towards the arrows.
The reverse of the US $1 bill shows both sides of the Great Seal of the United States. The eagle holds an olive branch in one claw, symbolizing the country's desire for peace, and a set of arrows in the other, indicating that the US is willing to use its strength if necessary. The Seal's designers intentionally faced the eagle towards the claw holding the olive branch to indicate that the United States prefers peace over war.
The Great Seal is located on the back of a US 1 dollar bill. It is found on the right-hand side, above the number 1, and features an eagle surrounded by a 13-star constellation, a shield, and an olive branch and arrows in its talons.
The 1 dollar Bill is George Washington. The 2 dollar bill is Thomas Jefferson. The 5 dollar bill is Abraham Lincoln. The 10 dollar bill is Alexander Hamilton. The 20 dollar bill is Andrew Jackson. The 50 dollar bill is Ulysses S. Grant. The 100 dollar bill is Benjamin Franklin. The 500 dollar bill is William Mckinley. The 1,000 dollar bill is Grover Cleveland. The 5,000 dollar bill is James Madison. The 10,000 dollar bill is Salmon P. Chase. The 100,000 dollar bill is Woodrow Wilson. The 1,000,000 is a fake dollar bill but has the Statue of Liberty on it.
All U.S. dollar bills have a letter A through L to indicate a Federal Reserve Bank branch where the bill was first issued. K refers to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
The presidential seal on the US 1 dollar bill represents the executive branch of the US government. It features the coat of arms of the United States, with an eagle holding a shield, arrows, and an olive branch, symbolizing defense and peace. The seal signifies the authority and power of the President of the United States.
