From what you describe the problem could be mange. Mange can cause inching, hair loss, sores and red bumps on the skin. The lumps may be from eggs that the mites have inserted under the skin. For images of mange go to Google.com/images?hl=en&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&q=mange&cp=3&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1196&bih=642 . It could also be a topical yeast infection but it sounds more like mange. I would recommend taking the dog to a vet (cost is about $100.00 for visit and test). If it is mange then ask for a medication called Revolution (cost $40 - $60). This medication kills all 3 kinds of mites and it is proven to be very effective. You may need to treat the dog for several months to years after with creams or dips depending on the type of mange. Hope this helps. Good luck and I hope you find your answer!

Dogs are covered in with skin and fur. All mammals are covered with skin and hair. The fur on a dog is referred to as a coat.
There are all sorts of lumps in your skin. They can be mosquito bites, goosebumps, warts, zits, and many other types of diseases. If you have a lot of lumps in your skin and are pretty small, they can probably be a goosebump. Sometimes, chicken pox can be formed into a lump. Chicken pox is red, so I'm not assuming you have chicken pox. I am assuming you have goosebumps. You get goosebumps when you are cold. If those lumps are itchy, it's probably a mosquito bite. If it's not, sadly it's probably a wart, zit, or something in a different type of lump. Hopefully this helped!
Hmm I think these are lymph nodes
yes
Because of the oils in salmon, it will help dry skin in a dog. If you give a dog salmon skin, it will have the same effect. Olive oil and fish oil pills will also help heal dry skin and increase the shinyness and health of a dogs coat.
