Why is there a Bible?

The Bible is a guide to life If you follow it and accept Christianity and Jesus in your heart you can use it as your life path.

Another answer:

There is a Bible because men moved by the Holy Spirit wrote letters, poetry, history, wisdom, and then other people gathered some of this writing into one book which is the Bible.

Another Answer:

At least, two reasons come, immediately, to mind.

1) "Moses was with the assembly of God's people in the wilderness. He was the mediator between the people of Israel and the angel who gave him Life-Giving Words on Mount Sinai to pass on to us." (Acts 7:38 NLT New Living Translation)

The Israelites, coming out of 400 years [about 10 generations] of slavery in Egypt, knew little or nothing about their patriarchs' God... or what He was about. But they knew all of Egypt's gods, intimately. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, however, "worshiped and obeyed" the verbal commands and teachings of the LORD their God through faith [see Heb.11]. And little does anyone suspect to this day, that the LORD their God was none other than the WORDwho would later become Jesus Christ - [see John 1:1-3 - a Truth of God's Word that few know about or believe].

"...because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws." (Gen.26:5) [this was centuries before Moses was born]

The generations of man from Adam to Moses had God's angelic messengers to instruct them in the ways of God. God told Adam and Eve His Commandments in and from the beginning... He didn't write them down. It's the breaking of these Ten Laws by which God defines sin!

"...for sin is the transgression of the law." (I John 3:4)

God's Commandments define what sin is [see Rom.7:7].

"Sin" entered into the lives of man through the first two people, whom the Serpent corrupted. That could not have happened if there were no Commandments for them to break or transgress.

"...for where no law is, there is no transgression." (Rom.4:15)

So, God instructed the first people regarding His Commandments. But their rejection and breaking of them... and failure to teach their children about them [see Deut.6:2-7], resulted in man's Satan-guided corruption, twisting and perversion of God's Laws of Love [specifically, the god man chose to worship promotes lawlessness or iniquity].

So, God used His angels to "call out of the world" those "few and far-between" Faithful who believed what He told them... who believed His Voice.

The study of sin goes deeper... but for argument's sake; one reason why God caused His Living-Word to be written was: to pass his written teachings, instructions and laws down to the latter day generations of man, those who are able to hear and obey God's instruction and teachings.

"Every Scripture... is useful for teaching, for convincing, for correction of error and for instruction in right doing; so that the man of god may himself be complete and may be [or become] perfectly equipped for every good work." (II Tim.3:16-17 WEY Weymouth's New Testament)

Reason 2) for there being a "written account" of the Words of God, the Bible, is because God is going to use it to judge the world at the Last Day of His plan to save man from the god he errantly chose to worship and obey from the beginning.

"Whoever persistently rejects Me and refuses to accept My teachings has something to judge him -- the very message I have spoken [which is now written in the Bible] will judge him on the last day." (John 12:48 WNT William's New Testament)

Few people know and understand what the Bible means when it says about Judgment Day:

"... books were opened... and the [resurrected] dead were judged by what was written in the books in accordance with what they had done." (Rev.20:12 WNT)

The Bible is a written account of instruction for the teaching of the right conduct of man, God's special creation that He made to one day be born into His divine, Immortal Family. The Bible is "Right Teaching" for the conduct of God's Children. It's Divine Instruction on how to love god... and one another. If only we would "believe" it.

And so, on the Last Great Day of God's plan for His creation's entry into eternity... and immortality... all of His creation, all men who have ever lived and died, will answer to Him for their life's conduct [how they conducted themselves and treated others]. And all of their answers will be "measured against what is written in the Bible! "

This is Lewis Driggers speaking now please do not hate me for what i say as my own family says that they are a strong believer of the bible and what it says but they seem only able to say what the preachers say is written in the bible and i have found proof in the bible that what the preachers preach is not whats in the bible and i am hated for bringing forth the truth that is written in the bible that they so deny when it is in the bible if anyone is reading this before my time comes as Jesus' time has come after seeing his own death and how in a dream 3 nights in a row as i have saw my own death 3 nights in a row of where one of my own family betrays me and leads me to my death of where i am shot once through the heart you can find me on facebook you will know me when you see me i an wearing a red shirt looking forward hair combed back looking lost below is what i have found but not all of it if i saw the rest on here i am sure to be hunted down please i ask for someone who has the true answers to help me find peace

before you come at someone about the bible and religion find the cold hard evidence that proves it even the bible has evidence in it that denotes the bible but people tend to run and hide from it because it is the truth and live in a lie. Where preachers preach that Judas betrayed Jesus to the roman's for 30 silver the bible does not say that the bible says that Judas betrayed Jesus to the high priest of Jerusalem capital city of Israel home of the Jews/Hebrews where the religion is Judaism he and the people of Jerusalem accuses Jesus born Jew of Judaism claiming to be Christ (son of god of Christianity) of Blasphemy which is true he wasn't the son of god as in the Old Testament it says that gods people are israel and israel is jew and jew is hebrew and Hebrew is Judaism which means god is Jew of Judaism which would make gods only begotten son a Hebrew of Judaism not a christian(christ)

take a look at the book of genesis it said after cain killed is brother he left eden and settled in the land of nod and there he knew is wife now answer this if adam eve and cain were the only three on earth after cain killed abel how in the world did cain meet his wife if she didn't exist

this is where it gets good science also proves the bible false not just the bible proving it false this part they both work together proving it false if god had created the earth just before the pigs cows chickens and such just before man then how did dinosaurs exist on the planet before the planet itself as science has already proven finding physical evidence where as the bible has no evidence other than the evidence in the bible it self that ironically proves the bible false

simply put the question what is the bible? it is nothing more than a book of lies mankind has writen and called it the basic instructions before leaving earth aka the bible

so i say again before preaching the bible or pushing it onto others get the cold hard evidence first or your just preaching a lie with no evidence proving what you say is true
