As a fact there is a great demand in the current energy market. So alternate sources of energy are necessary because we will run out of fuel. Also we can get green and clean energy if we consider for alternate energy source. But we have to make a right decision on which kind of alternate energy source actually works.

Gulf oil spill. Nuff said.

A:We also need to stop burning fossil fuel because of the carbon dioxide that the burning releases into the atmosphere, where it adds to the greenhouse gas.

One of the main problems is that the fossil fuels are non-renewable energy sources and we will one day run out of them to use as fuel. To prevent our lives as we know it from falling apart without this essential energy source, we must research and develop alternative sources of energy before this happens.

Also, the problem with fossil fuels is that when burned, they release many green house gases into the atmosphere which contribute to global warming. The main goal is that we can one day find alternative fuels with which this does not occur. This will substantially clean up our air and prevent smog in many of the cities.

You need alternative energy sources because burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) adds greenhouse gases to the atmosphere causing global warming and climate change.

Other reasons include the fact that oil is getting more expensive, and natural gases are more expensive, which means that we will eventually run out of the natural gas for oil and for us to have electricity.

Alternative energy sources are needed so the non-renewable sources of energy are not depleted from the Earth. Depletion of a single energy source can cause problems.

Most of our energy comes from Fossil Fuels. Fossil fuels are a nonrenewable resource which means that they will run out. The depletion of fossil fuels will cause the price of everything to rise due to the increase in fuel prices and the subsequent increase in production/transport cost of most products. The burning of Fossil Fuels has also been cited as one of the leading causes of global warming.

If we develop and use alternative energy sources, we may begin to reduce our use of fossil fuels. By doing so, we would reduce our carbon dioxide greenhouse emissions, which are contributing to global warming. So the final answer is the urgent need to prevent the planet from becoming hotter.

A:Humans are currently using fossil fuels faster than they can be made naturally. It takes oil thousands of years to form a barrel. People are trying to find a energy source that will dampen the impact when we run out of oil. People are experimenting with air, water, even hydrogen and algae. The sky is the limit! A:The world currently depends on fossil fuels which are non renewable and will run out. When fossil fuels run out in a few hundred years the world will have no energy source umless we find a new one. The world is currently using the sun and wind for some sources of energy. We need alternative energy sources like wind and solar power because one day when the world runs out of fossil fuels we need a way to get energy.

What is the best reason to use a renewable source instead of relying on fossil fuels?

Renewable energy sources don't add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere.

What is one reason for the US to develop alternative energy sources?

Why should the government develop alternative sources of energy?

Well, the most obvious reason is that oil isn't infinite and takes millions of years to form from compacted animal and plant matter. It would be foolhardy to not develop a more permanent solution to the energy crisis when the world has almost depleted its supply of fossil fuels. It's also not economical to continue using oil like we are, as prices will only continue to rise as it becomes ever more scarce.

Energy Environmental issues in the 1980?

The Energy Crisis of the 1970's powerfully illustrated this pairing of environmentalism with concerns over resource scarcity. At once, quality of life was inseparable from natural resource degradation, and environmentalism became more of a health-related term. On top of this, the effects that the crisis embedded into history elicited serious questioning of our perspectives toward natural resources in the United States. Furthermore, the "crisis" triggered great developments in the way of alternative energy forms. It was during these years that many new alternative sources we know today were pioneered, and new legislation supported research and development, as well as installation, of these systems. For this reason, the crisis was a catalyst for positive change, both in perceptions and in priorities. Undoubtedly, these new ideas instigated new debates over the role of government as well as the order of priorities, and these debates still linger today. For this reason, understanding the 1970's oil crisis will alow us to better understand the debates that we face today over energy sources worldwide.

What is a unique property of water Describe the property and explain the chemical or physical reason that causes water to have the property?

Hydrogen bonding causes water molecules to connect . The energy required to break multiple hydrogen bonds causes water to have a high heat of vaporization; that is, a large amount of energy is needed to convert liquid water, where the molecules are attracted through their hydrogen bonds, to water vapor, where they are not.

we need different sources of energy in order to survive for example without chemical energy we can't have food and in order to survive we need food.

How can you use alternative energy for?

The main reason to use alternative resources for energy is because the energy being used now will not last forever. It will at some point run out if alternative resources are not found. Another reason is to save money.

What is the most likely reason that some of the most densely populated regions on the map do not have high energy use?

One possible reason is that these regions may have high population density but low levels of industrial activity, leading to lower overall energy consumption. Additionally, these regions may have more efficient infrastructure, use renewable energy sources, or have cultural practices that prioritize energy conservation. Economic factors, such as access to affordable energy sources, may also play a role.

Are fossil fuel reusable?

No, fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) can only be used once. For this reason they are called non-renewable sources of energy.

What is reason for the US to develop alternative energy sources?

There are several reasons for the US to develop alternative energy sources. 1) Fossil fuels are running out. Strong winds, sunny skies, plant residues, heat from the earth, and fast-moving water can provide a constant supply of energy. 2) Alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, geothermal, hydroelectric and biomass produce little or no global warming emissions. 3) Extraction and transport of fossil fuels causes environmental damage. 4) Combustion of fossil fuels causes global warming, acid rain and air pollution and contributes to lung cancer, heart attacks, neurological damage, and other respiratory illnesses. 5) The renewable energy industry is more labor intensive, creating more jobs and other economic benefits. 6) Renewable energy prices are relatively stable while fossil fuel prices can vary and are prone to price swings. 7) There is less risk of large scale failure with wind and solar energy because they are distributed and modular. A severe weather event in one area will not cut off power to an entire region. 8) The US will be energy self-reliant, no longer dependent on other countries and their changing governments and policies. unsteady politics in foreign countries

How is energy manufactured?

Right now, coal and nuclear plants are the main sources of power. There are currently many efforts to shift this to renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy, solar energy, etc. The main reason for why renewable energy sources are currently not the main source is because their output cannot be adjusted during peak hours or other times of higher demand. In many cases, renewable energy plants are more expensive to operate as well. As for non-renewable energy sources, coal and nuclear plants can simply adjust their output during peak hours. The wind may die down or a storm may block the sun during peak hours, reducing the effectiveness of renewable power.
