well....there was one during the winter Olympics because first nations in Canada wanted attention on how deplorible the living conditions are for first nations comunities (this idea was taken from the Australian aboriginals during the sydney Olympics in 2000) there was also the G20 summit that was going on. There are WAY to many different protest groups and reasons for the protests to get into that but that was the big one recently, where the riot was on the news.
