What technology category is the iPod in?
The iPod is in the "technology" and "iPod" categories on the Answers dot com website. Each question on the site can be in a total of three categories and supervisors have the power to change or edit a questions category.
How are questions moved from the English site to the Spanish site?
All Supervisors that have experience with the Spanish language (or any of the international languages which WikiAnswers has as a sister site) can ask a Community Assistant for more information on helping to transfer the questions. Supervisors that are interested are given the ability to delete questions from the English site and then given access to the Batch-Ask tool on the international site to speed up the transfer. Once a question is added to the Spanish site the question is deleted entirely from the English site.
Why do Wikianswers supervisors always delete what you've wrote?
Supervisors will remove any post which is offensive, inflammatory, flippant, nonsense or simply the wrong answer, this returns the question to an 'unanswered' area of the site, to await a better answer.
Can I delete a question once it's answered?
No, only supervisors can remove questions off of the site by trashing them which hides them from regular users of the site. Supervisors are only allowed to trash inappropriate questions or questions that do not have enough information to be answered so just because you don't want your question on the site anymore does not mean it can be removed. Only questions that contain personal information in them qualify to be permanently deleted off of the site.
How can you feature your question on wikianswers?
Site supervisors feature questions on WikiAnswers. When there is a well written, easily understandable, never answered before question it has a chance to be featured on our main page. To get a question featured send your question to a site supervisor and ask them if they believe it could be featured.
How long can be the question to be asked stay in wiki answers?
As long as the question does not violate any site rules, questions remain permanently on the site. Staff, Supervisors, Members, and Visitors are constantly working to answer new and old questions.
What is the meaning of 'Revert' on this site?
Reversion is a special power which supervisors have. Using this feature they can revert back the answer of a question to a previous version in case it is vandalized.

If you are a Supervisor in one language of WikiAnswers why are you not a Supervisor in the others?
Supervisors' accounts are not automatically upgraded to Supervisor status on the foreign language sites because Supervisors may not be fluent in the language, or may not actively participate in the site - having more Supervisors than in reality contribute is misleading to users of the site, who may look to those Supervisors for support. Supervisors are welcome to contact a Community Assistant about having their account upgraded on a foreign language site.

How can i delete a wiki question i asked?
You can't. Once you post a question - it's in the system forever. Even if a question is answered - it's 'archived'. If the question matter is 'inappropriate' it will be moved to a more inaccessible area of the site - but will still be able to be seen by supervisors.
