∙ 11y agoThe desert is a hard place to live in, and most desert animals come out at night so it seems like a lot less animals then there really are. However there are still a lot less then the rain-forest. The rainforest has a lot more resources then deserts. Trees, fruits, rivers, places to hide, other animals to eat etc. (I'm going to assume you mean crocodile, vine, jungle type of rainforest)
