The Italian royal house is the House of Savoy (in Italian: Casa Savoia), represented by Vittorio Emanuele Prince of Naples, his son Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, and his cousin Prince Amedeo Duke of Aosta. However, Italy became a republic in 1946, so the titles of the royal family are no longer legally recognised.

Italy is no longer a monarchy, therefore they do not have a king or queen. Today, Italy is a Democratic Parliamentary Republic.
