Why is there no actual cheat codes for xbox 360 or any new gen consoles for that matter?

i started pondering the same thing. i did a little research and my answer came with this months Gameinformer.(page 30, if you subscribe or somehow get it) the answer is simple. game developers are eliminating cheat codes that break the games they work so hard to create. they still implement cool secrets in the game, but now you have to earn the stuff(for example, the skulls in the halo games). instead of you having everything just laid at your feet, the developers want you to PLAY THE GAME. sincerely hotpeanut (XBOXLive gamertag if you wanna chat about it)

i belive that if they made a new one they should have came with xbox xbox 90 xbox 18 then Xbox 360 like how would u know which is new one has numbers one dosent 360 sounds new cuz it has 360 in it and xbox sounds new cuz it sounds like a platinum edition so there really is no new gen until the make a wii 360 or game boy 360 cuz either way there gonna come up with a new con
