There is the equivilent to a 'backspace' button. It is called the 'delete' button and has the same functions as windows backspace button. It is located in the top right hand corner of the keyboard
the delete button in the upper right of your keyboard is the delete button, which is the equivalent of the backspace button of a PC
if you have a mac you hit the delete button if you have PC you hit the backspace button
Backspace
Push the "Backspace" button on your keyboard. If it still does not drop, then push the Backspace button repeatedly.
The Mac keyboard does not have a delete key. On MacBooks forward deletion can be achieved by holding down the Fn key and pressing the BackSpace key. Some applications replicate this operation with a Shift or Alt and BackSpace key combination but it is not native to the Mac's user interface.
On a Mac, the "Backspace" key is labeled "Delete" instead.
