On the left side of the page is a little icon which shows your iPod's name; you should click on that so that your iPod shows its information page.
Look at the very top of that page and, just underneath where you see "Ipod sync complete. Ok to disconnect." you will see a grey bar with various options: Summary, Apps, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Photos, Info. Click on Photos.

Why is there no photos tab in your itunes?
First of all, only certain iPods can allow photos. So when your iPod is connected, on the main page of the iPod info, there will be a Photos tab.
I am running itunes 9.1 on several pc's under windows XP. Can't sync any photos on my ipod nano 4g or my touch 2g because there is no photos tab to select. Why is there no photos tab in my itunes?
you have to put in the place you want itunes to get the pictures from. if you want it to sync with Pictures, put in the address of the file
