Your positive crankcase ventilation valve, or PCV, is probably stuck closed. The PCV vents crankcase pressure from the engine into the intake. When this valve sticks closed the pressure has to escape somewhere and it normally will escape through the dipstick tube.
it' on the left hand side by the exhaust
pressure in the sump caused by engine breather pipe being restricted or blocked is one cause for oil coming up through the dipstick hole
On the very front of the engine you will see a hole in the center of the exhaust manifold shield. There should be a dipstick sticking up throughout that hole with a orange handle on it. It it is not there it has been lost. You will need to buy a new one.
it sounds like your exhaust manifold gaskets are leaking or you half a hole in your Y pipe
usually you will be able to hear a abnormal sound coming from the exhaust. it may have become louder or when you reach higher rpm you can hear a high pitch noise coming from the in higher pressure in the exhaust being pushed out the small hole or if its a big hole you will definatly notice an increase in noise.
there is no dipstick. Instead there is a bolt on the side of the transmission that you remove. WHen you see oil coming out of that hole its full
you will either have a hatch mark or a hole drilled in the dipstick if you have the hatch mark then at the bottom of the mark if a hole then the bottom hole
On driver side mid block under exhaust manifold between 2 and 3 tube. Look for a small hole tube could have blown out
Radiators do not have exhaust.
Older engines have the dipstick on the driver's side. There is a hole in the side of the block between 5 & 7. Newer ones have the dipstick tube in the passenger side of the oil pan.
the dipstick hole is on the passengers side about 2 inches behind the knock sensor *on pre 1978 blocks the hole is on the drivers side in the same orientation as mentioned The dipstick hole is kind of right behind the starter. If your dropping it in an older vehical you wont have the knock sensor of course.
Yes! Then you would have triple exhaust.
