usually if there is white smoke coming out of anywhere in your exhaust that's an indication that your engine is burning oil, most likely caused by a leaking or blown head gasket, but could be caused by oil leaking down the pipe from your other leaks and burning off.
Oil smoke is NOT WHITE... If you have white smoke/steam coming from the exhaust then that will be engine coolant leaking into the combustion chamber. Nother words you have a BAD head gasket or a cracked head.
Blue smoke is oil.
possible coolant leaking internal, check oil filler cap for whitish slush, if it a gm vehicle you probably have intake gasket leak. cheers!!!
did you forget to replace the cap on the filler tube ? or you may have a leaking line
Try replacing oil filler cap.
should be a filler tube comin out of the trans
Jack up the car and put stands under it then look and see where it is leaking.
Transmission coolant hoses (in and out) are leaking. The Y-manifold is below the filler cap on bulk head. Hoses connect from here straight down to transmission.
I had this problem It was the fuel filler cap that was leaking petrol when cornering Replace the locking petrol cap
They're sealed. If the shocks are leaking you'll need to replace them. Always replace them in pairs, both sides at the same time.
Usually if it's leaking from the filler cap and the engine is not overheating, then either the cap is not tightened properly, the rubber seal on the cap is damaged/faulty (get a new cap), or the spring in the cap for maintaining proper pressure is faulty (get a new cap).
The most likely cause of transmission fluid coming up the filler tube is air in the fluid. This can be caused by a leak in the system and should be checked by a mechanic as soon as possible.
Possible blockage in fuel filler neck or hose, possible blockage in vent hose.
the cap is open
