if trust isn't present during adolecence, then something could go wrong and they wont tell anyone because they don't trust anyone. also girls need to have a truated friend or adult to help with stuff like Bras and periods.
teens get moody during puberty and such and if stuff goes wrong with parents and they don't trust each other with the truth you will always have trouble with your family and it all starts during puberty.
