Why is water leaking from under dashboard on the passenger side on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder?

Either a leak at the window or a leaking heater core. If the water smells or taste sweet, it is coolant. Replace the heater core. This happened to me on my 1988 Pathfinder w/air conditioning. The drain hose was clogged and the condensation couldn't escape as it was supposed to. It drained onto the floor (passenger side/ under dash). The fix is to locate the end of hose outside the car (between the engine and wheel well if I recall correctly) and poke a piece of wire (coat hanger) in about 6 to 9 inches to dislodge any debris. This solved my leak problem. Good luck. Same holds true for the 1995 Pathfinder. Another way to fix it is with compressed air. I use my air compressor in my shop, but if you are on the road you can buy a can of compressed air (the stuff used for cleaning computer parts.... buy it Walmart). just blow the air up the hose and stand back..... water will soon be pouring out. Don't do what I did and that is to ignore it. A clogged drain hose means water is trapped as well as leaking into your car. a simple u turn one day spashed the water onto the blower motor frying the unit. A very costly mistake. Air Conditioning hose is cloggeg up. Take off the hose (from under the dash on black casing, you will see a small plastic tube that the hose connect,s to after you get the hose off. It may take a little tugging to get the hose off ,as some of them are quite stubborn, after you get the hose off, blow compressed air down the hose, the re-install the hose.
