Fish's Nice Clean Water (Or Salt Water) To Be Able To Let Their Fins Take In The Water To Breath! Hope That Sorts Out Your Problems!!
They create their own environment of there home. You should have at least 2 plants and at least 1 cave or wooden log for fish to hide in. Fish do get bored, stressed, happy and sad.
in salt water
fish eat misquito larva
yes
In a fish farm environment, it's not just the food, but the amount, the quality, the swimming space, and the water quality
Rivers are important because you can get water and fish
Bubbles do virtually nothing for your tank or your water quality. If you attach the outlet to a filter instead of an air stone your water quality will improve and your fish will benefit.
In exactly the same way that an animal (human) relies on the quality of the air it lives in and breathes. A fish too relies on the quality of the water it lives in and breathes. Poor air quality = poor health. Poor water quality = poor health. In the case of fish though, simply by living and breathing and pooing in the water, Ammonia is produced. Ammonia is deadly poisonous and will kill most living things. If there is no way of removing this poison in a container of water containing fish, the fish will die from ammonia poisoning. A cycled filter uses naturally occurring aerobic bacteria to convert the (poisonous) Ammonia into (poisonous) Nitrite and then into (reasonably harmless) Nitrate. Much of this Nitrate is removed each week when some water should be replaced. Hence the basic rules of fish keeping which state :- 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water. :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank need at least 50% of its water changed every week.. Follow those rules and your fish stand a chance of survival. Fail to follow those rules and I can guarantee failure.
because fish need it to breathe. just like humans need air to breate. to fish, water is air.
Yes, if a pond becomes overcrowded with plants and fish, it can lead to a lack of oxygen in the water due to excess decaying organic matter and respiration by the fish. This can potentially result in a decrease in water quality and the death of fish. Maintaining a balanced ecosystem with appropriate stocking levels of fish and management of plant growth is important for the health of the pond.
water and fish
Because it has fish in it.
The most common problem with fish keeping is poor water quality. Fish get sick if their water is not clean and of the right parameters. You would get sick if the air you had to live in was of poor quality your fish are the same. I would try a water change or two and I'd make sure the temps and other values are correct when doing it.
