I don't think that Wonder Woman is mythological. Well, most likely yes and no. Yes, she is basically mythological, but only because she is apart of the Amazons race (a powerful warrior women tribe that is unusually stronger and more dependent than men). Amazons are apart of myth and legends, so Wonder Woman, being Princess Diana of the Amazons, would basically make her between being mythological and not. The no answer would be because Wonder Woman was created by comic writers and was not created as a myth in any way. She is a superhero, not an Amazon. So, yes and no.
Wonder Woman's sidekick is usually considered to be Donna Troy, who is a close friend and ally in many of Wonder Woman's comic book storylines. Donna Troy is a superhero in her own right, known as Troia or Wonder Girl.

· Wonder Woman
Some of Wonder Woman's main villains are Circe, Cheetah, Doctor Poison, Doctor Psycho, Giganta, Genocide, Ares, and the Silver Swan. She also fights mythological monsters like Medusa, and will fight other superheros' villains when she runs into them, or if the other superheros need help.
She was referred to as Astarte, or the Empress of the Silver Snake. Oddly Snake was used rather than the more exotic and mythological-sounding serpent, as in Sea Serpent, etc.
