first u can take a plastic bottle put two spoons of suger, three small spoons of east and put some hot water in it and then put a balloon on the bottlel's mouth then just wait and watch the all carbon dioxide go into the balloon slowly slowly
To look good
i had the same exact question for my science report determining wether or not yeast cells are alive.
It does NOT produce CO2
why is it reasonable that, of the three sugars, glucose would result in the most activiity suring the fermentation experiment
starch can be broken down into glucose units by amylase enzymes. the glucose can then be fermented into alcohol by yeast cells. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermentation_(food)

Yeast of course, beer bottle, water, balloon and sugar maple syrup.
Presence of sugar in the both bottles
Yeast must be activated before an experiment. In order for it to metabolize sugars, it must be incubated, which activates the yeast by adding heat.
The bottle that contains only yeast and water. The experimental group in the bottle with yeast, water, AND sugar.
It does NOT produce CO2
I just did this experiment for my biology class. It seems that with the bleach, it kills the reaction of the yeast. It overpowers the yeast. No bubbles occur--like if it were just yeast, sugar, and warm water.

EH...... what the heck
you did not answer my question . please answer the question I give you I said the hypothesis about how to make a ballon blow up using soda and yeast
