This machine has a tank in the back rather than over the carburetor like on many atvs. This make it necessary to have a fuel pump. The fuel pump is operated by vacuum. Start by checking for vacuum leaks or disconnected vaccum lines. The vacuum is created by the engine turning over so this can be tough to test. You could potentially use an alternative fuel source to run the engine and check for vacuum. You may have a faulty fuel pump. I know that my quadrunner was very difficult to start after it had been sitting for a period of time without running. Once started and shut off, it would usually kick off quickly
