It sounds like you might have a vacuum leak. I think that the AC controls work by moving air around. You'll probably have to get at the controls in the dash to look for disconnected/damaged hoses. FriPilot
Bad switch? Bad relay/ Breaker tripped?
Flex plate (you might know it as the fly wheel) rubbing on something? Bad alternator? Trace the sound to where it's coming from, describe and ask again.
making a hissing noise
They stopped making Pontiac in 2010
It's normal for the ABS unit in that vehicle to make an awful noise while making an ABS stop. I'm not sure exactly what causes it.
Well, the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. It may very well be that your pump is what's making the noise.
Sometimes a ticking sound is a valve lifter. The faster you go the faster the ticking will be. Make sure first it is not something stuck in a tire or something on the fan belt.
Lemur's defend themselves by going in to a ball and making a hissing sound.

Did u stop making ponic
2010 marked the end for Pontiac.
Good question! But, the Sunfire had a run of nearly 10 years. Zillions of them were sold and were/are still quite dependable, but the time comes with all car models when it's time to update. Newer technologies need to be put into place. The styling has become dated and customers no longer find the car attractive or competitive. I guess quitting on a high note is the best thing. Sadly, Pontiac is going the way of Oldsmobile. There will be no more. Those of us who own and love our "Ponchos" will have to take very good care of all of them if we expect to see them on the road in the years to come. RIP Pontiac ~
