Dogs that are under-exercised and then experience of period of strenuous exercise can strain the muscles in the tail area that are associated with activity. ∙ 12y agoIf your dog's tail is bent under, that might mean that it is scared of you or ashamed and hesitant. For example, if your dog knocks down a plate, and you start yelling at it, it's tail might bend under it's legs to show that it is sorry and ashamed.
