Engine management light
also known as a M I L malfunction indication light
It is showing there is a problem with the engine management system
on the vehicle.

The most obvious one would be that the bulb is out and a change is required.A fuse may have gone out or if the dashboard is not lighting up,then the battery has gone flat. There's always the possibility that the light switch is off or the engine aint switched on!
Go to Finder, Applications then open Dashboard. Little 'x's will appear in the corner of anything you have on the dashboard. If you wish to remove it simply click the 'x.' If you want to add things to your dashboard there should be a plus sign in the bottom left corner. When you click on it, dashboard applications will pop up that you can add to your dashboard.
