Usually rabbits choose a special place where they want to do there "business", she will probably go in her litter tray if you move the tray in that spot. I hope that works for you. :)

How often can rabbits have bunnies?

A female domestic rabbit CAN have babies every 30 days. They will rebreed the same day they deliver IF exposed to a buck. (I wouldn't recommend it) You are shortening the life of the rabbit and endangering the well being of the litter she is carrying as well as the well being of the litter she has just delivered.

What will a mother rabbit do with the runt of the litter?

It depends on how many there are in the litter. Like if there are three she will probably keep it, but if there are six she might abandon it. Remember every mother is different. My Rabbit killed hers, she had 3 in her litter, and she dragged him out side of the nest! Still if your mother rabbit is feeding the rabbit, then it is not a runt!

Will a female rabbit take care of someone's orphaned babies?

Yes, if they have a litter that is about the same age and there are not too many you can foster orphans to another mom.

How do you retrain a rabbit to use litter box?

Rabbits can be taught, re-taught to use a litter box, rabbits normally use one corner of their hutch/cage to poo in, if you get a litter box, and put some saw dust ectra in it, then get plenty of the rabbits poo and put it in the litter tray in the corner that the rabbit poos in, the rabbit should start to use the litter box and after a few weeks of the rabbit using the tray you should be able to move the litter tray to where you want and the rabbit will continue to use it.

Do you need to put the female rabbit and male rabbit in different cages if the female has started pulling out her fur and looks to be building a nest?

well i dont know about the pulling her hair out, but if she's making a nest then its more likely she is making it so she can have a litter of kits/bunnies.

How often do rabbit reproduce per year?

Theoretically, a female rabbit can produce a litter of babies every six weeks ! Which is why it's always a good idea to keep males and females separate unless you plan to breed them !
