It is likely broken.
take it off and take it to autozone they will check/test it for free
Most likely the Ignition Switch. Honda issued a recall on this so if you haven't gotten the recall repair it should be free
Try taking pressure off of the ignition switch by turning steering wheel. If that does not work try taking the handle of a screw driver and placing it against the ignition switch. Gently tap the end of the screwdriver with a hammer. This may be a temporary fix, but should keep you from needing a tow.
Just try turning the steering wheel to one side or the other. Sometimes the ignition gets locked up in one direction and by gently turning it to either side while turning the key in the ignition will free it up. real common problem don't even waste your time with a new key im sure its worn out,im a licenced Saturn tech in st.catharines Ontario get a new key cut and get the ignition cylinder replaced,if you need more info contact me at stephen_saturn@hotmail.com The tumblers are sticking. insert key and hit with a hard object to jar the tumblers loose. Then blow grafite into the key slot.
Turning the steering wheel left to right rapidly while turning the key in the ignition should free up the ignition switch. If this does not rectify the problem it could be with the lever lockout or the key itself.
No it will not. You must have an OBDII engine scanner to read the codes. Some parts stores will read them free of charge. Advance auto parts is 1 that will.
