well theres a few things that it could be.
1. you disk has something on it
you should wipe it o ff with a damp cloth- remember NOT SOAKING WET! that will mess up your disc even more.
2. your disk is scratched alot
you could take it somewhere like a game store that has the special machines to fix up the scratches. or if you feel like risking it, 've tried a little bit of tooth paste on the disk and then using the damp cloth, it helped a bit.
3. your gamecube disk sanner is either messed up or broken.
after you've tried the first two solutions, and it stil isn't working, you might want to see if the problem is your game cube disk scanner. i think that game stores might be able to help, im not sure if they will though.
hope it helped!!

I asked myself the same question, The game cube disc might be dirty, even if it doesn't look it, it maybe covered in fingerprints and tiny scratches, the scratches you get from leaving it out of its box, don't advise cleaning your disc with soap, DEFIANTLY NOT) antibacterial gel, weak alcohol, baby wipes work though.
I worked something else out with my poor S.A.2.B game, don't leave it in direct light, artificial or real, the game discs like a gremlin..........
However also cheat code things like Action replay and whatever won't be good for it either, and modern skinning machines will ruin the disc too. cause the discs so small and cute..

I'm careless with my gamecube discs and have had to play the same 3, so now i get more boxes for em..
It means that either no disc is inserted in the disc drive, or something is wrong with the inserted disc or possibly the disc drive. If a disc is inserted, check it for scratches, and if there are no scratches, try other discs to see if they work.
you may need to clean scratches off the disk. A dirty disk may not be read corretecly, causing the gamecube to say "the disc could not be read"
You may be putting the disc in wrong try putting the game in so the cover faces the right and the back faces left.
Because you are using PS3 discs.
gamecube isnt wifi enabled there isnt an ethernet port.
No, the GameCube disk only works on the Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii and will not work on any other disk readers including a computer
Well lets think about this. What size is a gamecube disk? and what size is an xbox disk? question answered :)
yes but you cant use the wii remote there is a slot in the top were you can plug in a gamecube controller
Your disk is not reading few files properly
cuz u havent taught it how to read
Reading a disk involves accessing and retrieving data that is already stored on the disk, while writing to a disk involves adding new data or modifying existing data on the disk. Reading does not change the content of the disk, whereas writing alters the information stored on the disk.
No. Normal DVD drives are incapable of reading Gamecube discs.
To get Jirachi on Sapphire, you have to have the Pokemon Colleseum Bonus Disk, along with a GBA-Gamecube/Wii connector. Start up the Bonus disk on your wii/gamecube and go to the option "Special Gift Jirachi." It will have further intructions there. I hope this helps you.
If you want to copy them as in insert disk, then save it... theoretically you could save it as a disk image, then try to run that if it can read the disk, but this isn't necessary.
This happened to me a lot of times but i fixed it. First if you have any cockroaches or ants or anything that can fit in your gamcube tap hard on your gamecube so they can fall out. Clean your gamecube disc and put it in and try again.
no, the disk drive isn't even big enough to fit a wii disk, let alone read or play it.
