Alright, mine has this problem, and I am led to believe that it is a result of bad connection with the head phone jack, as in, perhaps, some wiring has come disconnected. When I push gently on the bottom right corner of my iPod, sound returns.
To get sound, pause music. then put in ur headphones and play the music(or go on an app with sound) then take the headphones out and you will have sound again.
Always make sure that you update the operating software via iTunes.
This question is a question that must use train from London Chocolate Roll to Mexico Cave and use jet plane and crash onto Negara Falls and jump out and dived into the river with 10 combos but must sing this irritating song called ''LALALALALA...SING A HAPPY SONG!'' and you will teleport in 5000centeries time and you just got to the Panasonic Shop and must remember to bring half a cent! :D
maybe the volume isn't up, or it is muted. Take mute off, or put the volume up. The volume buttons are the 2 side-buttons on the ipod touch. If that doesn't work, then you might be hopeless.
See the related link for a website to answer your question with a very simple solution.
To put sound on iPad, you can use iMacsft iPad to PC Transfer, which can also import songs and movies to iPad for entertaiment. The process is very easy.
The volume setting for the speaker may be different than the volume setting for the headphone.
The headphone jack may be bent to the position as if the headphone was plugged in.
