Why it is compulsory for every Muslim to cover their body while taking a bath?

Muslims cover themselves as all other religions and cultures. However, in Islam, there are some requirements per religion. For men, they should wear cloth covering at least from naval to knees. For women, they should wear cloth covering whole body except face and hands.
