Left hand thread thermocouples were made by American Water Heater company and I believe some Whirlpool models as well. The part was put on American Proline Water Heaters from 2000 to 2006 and then discontinued. The company now replaces this with an adapter that will accept universal right hand thread thermocouples.
When its a left handed thread you would turn it counter clock wise which is right to loosen and left to tighten it.

The front compression nut is right handed, however the nut hold the clutch hub is left handed.

No it is not reverse thread. The passenger side rear spindle is the reverse thread on 88-93 festivas.
Not sure which of "the" bolts you are referring to. But every one I can think of on a voyager is right hand thread.

I have never seen one with left handed threads. Counterclockwise to remove clockwise to install.
Remove belt If you are just changing the wheel--it is "left handed thread"
You could check with a service technician, but I can't imagine any oil plug being left-handed threads. There are more than enough idiots out there stripping right-handed threads by over-tightening them to take a chance on changing one brand to the opposite thread.
