They all have no paperwork so there is great difficulty proving who they are Some of them might be terrorists pretending to be assylum seekers Where do they get all that money from to pay the boat crew? Poor people there only earn a few dollars per week. They could also be terrorists pretending to be asylum seekers. They also might bring bad diseases that we don't already have here. They could bring insects and vermin that infect and destroy our animals and crops.

For example, someone in Cuba who is being persecuted (put in jail, local police are beating him, etc.) for speaking out against the Government might go to the USA to escape the conditions of their homeland. When a person is seeking asylum they are seeking refuge, sanctuary or a place they can be safe and secure.
