well if you have allready cheaked the brake fuse it could be that the bulbs have burnt out check that.......As for me we tried to go the easy way with installing a
toggle switch and manually turning them off and on, but today the wires melted completely from the battery to the brake lights themself, as of tomorrow we are going to buy a brake light switch and install it. I was told that is what is causing all of this trouble. I hope I helped.
Your brake fuse might continue blowing in the 1995 Toyota Camry because you have a wire that is exposed and shorting out. You might also have an issue with the brake sensors.
You need the fuse box.
Check the answer I gave for "how do I change taillight for an '02 Camry ?". The procedure is the same. Not sure of bulb type, might be a 921, but don't quote me on that.
Your front breaking pads are needed to be repalced, you might have to replace rotors.
There are many places one might go to purchase a 2013 Toyota Camry. In addition to the official Toyota website, one might also purchase a Camry from a dealership.
The Toyota Camry has a weakness with tail lights and break lights. The Camry uses a sensor, called the "Lamp Failure Indicator Sensor", and if it burns out, you will lose your tail lights, or brake lights, or both. This sensor is a small 2 inch box, which comes in different colours, like yellow, white, grey, for example. It is located in the trunk, driver side. You have to lift up the coverings, and it is attached to the wire harness. If you can find it, just unclip it and remove it from the car. Then, open the back of the box, and check the circuit. If there are burn marks, or some wires are broken, then that's the problem. A brand new sensor can cost 200 to 300 dollars. You might find one at the wreckers. They usually charge 5 to 10 dollars.
Any time you have an strange problem with lights it is a poor ground. Your tail lights are back feeding through the brake lights instead of going to ground. I would start by running a jumper wire to the tail light and brake light ground and I would guess the problem would be fixed. You might also want to look at your break light failure indicator. It commonly goes bad in these models.
The brake switch on a 1999 Corolla should be on the top of the brake pedal arm. If the switch goes bad, then the brake lights might stay on, or not come on at all.
Brake system uses push one buttons (hand brake and pedal) and I think there is one a sensor attached to the brake fluid canister. Also, you might have ABS sensors that are located at each wheel.
If you mean the brake master cylinder, then squealing might mean that you have a vacuum leak.
Check the brake fluid level. Also you might have some air in the system. Anyway you will have to bleed the system.
Sales on a Toyota Camry can be found on websites such as Cars for Sale or Car Sales. You might want to call your local Toyota dealer or pop into their store and ask if Toyota Camry is on offer.
