The question is a bit confusing since there is no "compression" on any coil on any vehicle. Coils are electrical devices that provide high voltage current to the spark plugs. If you are asking why there is no current at the output side of coil 6, it is probably because it is burned out. You therefore need a new coil (or coil pack if it is a multiple coil serving more than one sparkplug).
On the other hand, if you are asking why you have no compression in cylinder 6, it is because your compression rings are badly worn, or a valve is stuck open, or you have burned a hole in the top of the piston.
Have a technician check it out.
On a 2002 Mercury Sable : I assume the coil pack towers are numbered the same as any other Ford / Mercury six cylinder coil pack that I have seen : coil---3 - 4 pack--2 - 6 plug---1 - 5 ------------------------------------------------------------------ Also the engine cylinder locations on your V6 Mercury Sable are numbered : firewall 1-----2-----3 4-----5-----6 front of vehicle > driver The firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 )
You may have compression on any cylinder where the valves happen to be closed, but you will not have compression on all cylinders. 1991 Sable does not have a 305 engine.
No , it has the Electronic Distributorless Ignition System ( EDIS ) with a coil pack that has ( 6 ) towers
Compression coil springs were made to be durable. If this answers your question, then yes, it is compression because of the type of springs it has.
Coil pack and the spark plug- check compression

If "heater coil" is just another term for "Heater core", then yes, most all cars have them.See "Related Questions" below for tons of information about Taurus / Sable heater cores.
Bad plugs and wires or/and coil
on the back of the engine u have to remove the intake to get to it
6 ========================================================== The above answer is correct if you have the 3.0 liter DOHC , DURATEC V6 engine in your 2004 Mercury Sable --------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have the 3.0 liter VULCAN V6 ( and the flex fuel version ) it has the Electronic Distributorless Ignition System ( EDIS ) and has ( 1 coil pack that has 6 towers for the spark plug wires )
I was looking at one of the Ford websites and it shows that for a 2001 Mercury Sable 24 valve ( the " Duratec " ) and for the 12 valve ( the " Vulcan " ) they both use ( 1 ) coil pack that has six towers on it ( both engines use the Motorcraft DG-485 ignition coil pack )
Does it have fuel, spark (BAD COIL?) and compression?
