I guess it's the strongest form of structure to form the end of the upright cylinder which is the basic reactor enclosure. The reactor must be enclosed with a structure which can contain the worst type of reactor failure which would release a lot of steam. It also protects the reactor and its equipment from the weather.
This is not the shape of the reactor itself, it is the top of the secondary containment. This is a large cylinder surrounding the reactor, and for structural reasons it is better to have a domed end then a flat top. This is similar to the domed ends on a tank of liquid gas, it just makes it stronger.
there are no bad things about the nuclear power reactors
Reactors are typically made from concrete, steel and lined with lead, the combination of these materials and built into a strong shape(bullet shaped or spherical shaped etc..) make up a nuclear reactor, these materials also absorb the radiation produced inside the nuclear reactor(lead absorbs gamma radiation and concrete absorbs neutron radiation).
One of the primary functions of a nuclear reactor is to maintain a chain reaction. Also, nuclear reactors are meant to provide a steady flow of neutrons.
Yes, thorium was used as a fertile material in nuclear reactors.
In nuclear reactors, there are over 400 operating power reactors world wide
Well, as nuclear reactors are nuclear reactors, nuclear reactors are not used inside nuclear reactors.
Nuclear reactors use nuclear fission.
There are 59 nuclear reactors in France.
We use nuclear fission in nuclear reactors to tap nuclear energy.
Current nuclear reactors rely on nuclear fission as their nuclear reaction.
There are over 400 nuclear reactors around the world.
As of 2010, India has 20 Nuclear Reactors.
there are no bad things about the nuclear power reactors
Most nuclear reactors are thermal-neutron reactors. A few fast breeder reactors have been built, but not many.
Nuclear reactors are built. Therefore the source is the country that commissioned and built them.
