Chunks do not really mean something very small like most people may think,it could be a large particle or huge mass. Floating chunks of ice from ice sheets or ice shelves (land ice) are called "ICEBERGS", while large areas of floating sea ice are called "ICE FLOES".

Ice is more frozen. Snow is like water, halfway frozen up. Or like ice grinding many times into a thick liquid.
There is solid water, like ice, liquid water, like rain, and gas, like steam.
There is no sport called ice skiing but there is ice skating and snow skiing.
ice it is slippy and you can stab someone with it and 17 people in my family died in skiing as there was uncleared away ice on the slope
I do both skiing and ice skating. For me I would say that skiing is the easier sport because it the easiest to get used to. You don't wobble like you would in skating and it's not as complex. If you are trying to decide which one to go for then I would choose ice skating because there is bound to be an ice rink near you which you could go to maybe once every week, whereas, skiing is a once in a while sport. Hope that helped! (:
