The perfume is carried by the smoke from the incense stick. The smoke molecules disperse and continue to permeate all the air around even when the smoke itself becomes invisible to the eye.
It means like when a smell, like popcorn, travels through the air, spreading the smell/ odor everywhere! hope this helps!!!
The air molecules in a warm room move faster than in a cold room, so the perfume particles will dissipate faster in a warm room.
We smell because of particles in the air. Air currents , due to people moving about or fans in the room. carry the particles across the room and the nerves in your nose detect them.
Probably because someone has sprayed a lavender perfume into your room or there is a lavender air freshener in your room hope this helps ya xxxxx
Solute is perfume and solvent is air
A drug can permeate the room if it is in the form of a compressed gas, or if it is volatile and evaporates (or sublimes) at the temperature of the room. Of course, unless it displaces the air, it cannot "fill" the room, but as a gas or aerosol it can mix with all of the air in the room -- assuming that it can mix, and is not so light or so heavy that it accumulates at the ceiling or floor.
A sense of foreboding seemed to permeate the town. The smell from the garbage dump would permeate the air during the summer. The fireproofing agent has to permeate the material to be effective.
the particle of the perfume diffuses and moves
Diffusion. Where particles move from an area of high concentration to an area of low concentration. For example if perfume is sprayed in one corner of a room, it will be smelt soon after in the opposite corner. It is a random, natural process that doesn't require energy.
why can the odor of perfume reach you?
permeate:
