Simply fastening your seat belt should put the light out. If you have a heavy object sitting on the passenger side seat like a tool box or such that could trick the light to come on. If not you have something disconnected or broken.
Not sure what you are asking here. The driver side seatbelt light should turn off when you buckle it. You are buckling it? The passenger side seat belt light can be turned off also by buckling it. There may be a way to disable the passenger side seat belt light, but why would you want to do that? Seat belts are one of the best safety devices ever mandated. Ford offered them I believe on the 57 model and found that no one wanted to think about safety and driving.
your joking right ?
Yes it does: Driver & Passenger front seat belt sets are mechanically different & have separate part numbers.....
the receiver for the belt has a sensor. if it fails the light will continue to flash even though the belt is buckled. replace it!
Yes, just yesterday I saw a 2003 Honda Pilot EX damaged on the front passenger fender/bumper. Both airbags (driver and passenger) were deployed. The seat belt for the driver side will need to be replaced if the driver was using it. The passenger seat belt will be fine if no one was sitting there. A friend from Oklahoma
There is a plug underneath the passenger side seat, if you unplug this the sound will stop but also the airbag will stop working, and a light saying so will appear in front of the driver, balance your annoyance
The Honda dealer will replace your seat belt assembly under warranty, may have to order the parts, I had an 1988 Accord that the seat belt was replaced 3 times, no charge under warranty.
it is the side airbags
Check the connection at the floor behind the seat to see if it is disconnected.
It is inside a module box that is located on the passenger side "C" pillar just behind and at the bottom of that pillar's snap on interior cover. It is just behind where the seat belt comes out on the passenger side of the second row seat.
It should be about 6-8 inches up from the floor-plate on the outer frame nearest the seat belt. They are fairly easy to fix.
