Why should children not be able to choose what they learn at school?

I think we kids 13 and up should have the choice to go to school or not because this is a free country and we should have the choice and not some parents can tell us. If we want to be dumb and try to figure things out our selves then we should have the right to not want to go to school. I mean sure parents do protect us and try to get us a good education but it's not fair that parents tells us that we don't have the choice to go to school. So much for a free country. If you agree type your response below this one and tell me what you think should we should do to change this kids HAVING to go to school.
I'm a 14 year old guy, im home educated and went to school for a few years.
Luckily enough my parents were understanding of my choice because i was bullied allot and no amount of so called anti bullying campaign could stop it, I totally agree with the response above there are many con's in school.
One of the major cons like i mentioned: bullying. who ever wrote that question above is stupid everyone needs to go to school to get a good job
