Why should some people accept gays or lesbian when some people have their believes too?

Gays, lesbians, and bis are no different from you and me. They can be black or white, they can get colds and cancer, they have feelings also! Accepting others even though they are different shows maturity and kindness within a person. One can decide to not support gays, but these opinions are best left to themselves to avoid hurting those around them and the public in general. A person may not believe gays are worth equality, but, as mentioned, they have feelings just like you and me.
