Bengal Tigers are the very large and their coats are very unique. They are hunted for their fur and skin and body parts. People kill them to strip them of their furs and sell certain body parts. These parts may also have applications in medicine. Tiger products are usually very expensive because illegal activities are often involved. Such products are usually sold in the black market.

Then again, tiger hair was never very valued as it is not a very useful skin or hide, no insulation or water proofing and it just doesn't look good as clothing. Look at your history and try to find a real tiger hair coat. Government hunters kill them once they start eating people, a sign they are sick, injured or old. Legal tiger hunting stopped in 1968, except for heads of state who can still shoot anything they want. Save your money for local causes.
