Actually, tighty whities (briefs) are becoming more popular now adays. Briefs are the way to go.
I wear tighty whities and i love them and so do the ladies! thw white ones are the way to go. They are very comfortable and they look good too. The only bad thing about them are the wedgies that you get. But they are better than always having boxer wedgies. They are also great for sports because your package doesnt bounce.

I agree with the young man's response above, briefs (to me) are far more comfortable and supportive (if that is your preference) as opposed to boxers and/or boxer briefs.
I also agree with what they both say, they do give support, and i feel snug and secure, and they dont ride up as much, but other guys might think you're weird

∙ 12y agoI tried to do a whole day in boxer briefs but it drove me crazy. They were way too tight and I got really annoyed by my testicles bouncing around in them the whole time. I only ever wear underpants, everything else is just too irritating.
