It will overblow and all the power will go out
You need a six extension and a spark plug socket with a rubber stop inside. The spark plugs are located on top of the engine. They are about 4 inchs inside the head. Using the extenion put the socket with the rubber piece inside which will grip the plugs when they are unscrewed allowing you to remove the plugs. When installing use the same socket but press the plugs inside the socket so they are being gripped which will you to slowing lower them inside the head with the extension and get them started. I suggest you start them by hand.
for the tough ones use a socket that you can put a wrench on to crackem loose
Under the hood of your car, you should see 4, 6, or 8 spark plug wires running to the sides of your engine depending on how many spark plugs your car has. These cables hook onto the tops of the plugs. Pull the caps off. Underneath, you will see the top of the plugs. You will need a special socket to remove them. This socket is usually standard with most socket and ratchet sets. Take your old plugs out. Make sure you use a gap setter to set the gap on your new plugs. And make sure you know the correct gap setting for your vehicle. Put the new spark plugs in 'hand tight'. Just put them in by hand and them give them about 1/4 turn with your ratchet. Put the wires back on. It's that simple. You can get a gap setter at any decent auto shop and they can look up the setting for you. If need be, they should also be able to point out where the spark plugs are.
You pull the old plug wires out, use your Haynes or Chitlons repair manual to discern what size the head on the spark plugs are. Get a long enough extension with the correct head size socket, put it where the spark plug wires were, put the wrench in reverse and back the sparkplugs out. Put the new spark plugs on the socket, put the wrench in forward, tighten them to the torque specs in your haynes or chitlons manual. Put new plug wires on and you're done.
to change the plugs you must take off the spark plug boots..you then take the spark plugs out with a 5/8 sparkplug socket..put the new plugs in the holes and finger tighten them a little(with the socket and extension so that it doesnt cross thread)it might also be wise to replace the wires if they look bad or cracked..
well , u shouldnt.
The spark plugs on a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 are changed by removing the cover plate, disconnecting the plug wires, and unscrewing the spark plugs using a deep wall socket. New plugs are then put in place and torque down to specifications.
Remove the engine covers and carefully remove the ignition wires from the spark plugs, there are 12 of them, then remove the spark plugs with a 5/8 plug socket. Make sure the gap is correct on new plugs put a bit of anti seize on the threads then install the new plugs...
most S-10s are a V6, and to get to the plugs, the easiest way is to jack up the front end and go under the wheel well splash guard with a swivel plug socket and a long extension. there is a shock absorber that blocks one of the plugs on the drivers side, and the easiest way to get at it is to put the socket on and break it loose with a wrench and then remove it the rest of the way with your fingers (if you use the socket the whole time it has a chance of getting stuck on) For the S-10 4 cyl flex fuel, open the hood. The plugs are immediately accessible from above, once the plug wire boots are removed. If your hand is not small enough to fit for installation and hand-tightening of the new plugs you may have to use a socket extension. Be careful! The porcelain part of the plug will break if there is any flex at all as you turn the new plug in the hole. BTW, before you put the plugs in, do not forget to put some anti-seize on the plug threads.
This is a really simple task (I have done it many times on my 1988 Toyota celica). First of all you have to know where the spark plugs are on the car. To locate them open the hood and look on top of the engine you should see 4 red rubber things, take all of these off. For the next step you are going to need a ratchet wrench and a socket extension, and a sparkplug socket and a flashlight. 1. with the red rubber things out of place take the flashlight and look down into the hole you should see spark plugs in all of them. 2. Once youv'e located the spark plugs have use the ratchet wrench with the spark plug socket and unscrew all the sparkplugs and dispose of them properly. 3. put new spark plugs in and you are done. Simple. I hope this helped!
Because... you shouldnt put your HW here its how you fail tests.
Very simple to do. Purchase 4 new platinum spark plugs for the vehicle. You will need a spark plug socket (it has rubber on it to grip the spark plug you are taking out) and an extension of at least 8 inches. When you open the hood you will see the 4 spark plug leads on top of the engine. Unplug the leads ....put the spark plug socket down each hole and unscrew the spark plugs. The new spark plugs will likely be already gapped to the .043 inches needed. Screw the sparks plug in (I made sure I did not put the spark plug socket on the spark plug too tightly or you could leave the spark plug in the socket hole. A 15 minute job at the most
