Wearing strong perfume in any circumstances is old school. A single bottle of perfume is made up of hundreds of chemicals. Many people are sensitive to those chemicals that can trigger headaches and congestion. Others are simply nauseated because what seems to smell wonderful to you might smell disgusting to someone else. Strong perfume hijacks all the air in the room and takes away from the food being prepared when it permeates the kitchen. If you must wear perfume it should be applied in such small amounts that only you can smell it.
