Why is cyberbullying wrong?

Cyberbullying is wrong because it makes people sad and can make people self harm. Thus it can severely damage peoples lives. It can also develop into more than just cyberbullying, the victim may feel they can't leave their homes, even to see close well trusted friends. Some victims feel they have no alternative but to end their lives, but if only they could confide in someone the bullying could be stopped and life made better again.

Cyberbullying is so wrong, you just don't know how desperate the victim can get so please never cyberbully anyone.

Cyberbullying is very wrong for many reasons. Sometimes cyberbullying can lead to a persons depression, or even suicide! It is wrong to bully, even on the internet! Because whatever you say on the internet STAYS on the internet - even if you delete it! Never ever EVER cyberbully. If the case is severe and the person reports you, you could get taken to jail, it has happened before.

It depends on the exact situation. There are times to respond, and mainly that is to set the record straight when there is defamation. However, a lot of times, responding may let them know they have an audience and that they are getting to you. When dealing with forum bullies, withdrawing from the forum tends to take away their ammunition. But if they are posting links and lies about you in your absence, then avoiding them won't help.
