- Cheating in the classroom has been going on for decades. The reasons are: the student has not studied and has no inclination to study; they have no self confidence in the fact they can get good grades on their test; they may prefer to party and studying does not appeal to them. When a student cheats (crib notes ... hiding the answers on little pieces of paper or writing the answers on their arm or hand) they are cheating themselves whether they believe so or not because knowing you worked hard for something and winning in the end be it a test at school or anything that individual takes on in life is a fulfilling feeling. When you cheat you know it and the individual will never really ever know what they are made out of. It's dishonest and cheap to do. As far as some students cheating knowing full well it's ethically wrong is in their eyes the thing to do because others do it. Thus, it makes no sense to be a follower of what others do 'monkey see, monkey do.' Studying and getting average to good marks is the only way to go.

ANSWER: I don't think its about one student who would want to cheat because he or she didn't study before going back to school. We all need to give this kids like in high school some trust and benefit of a doubt that they will never cheat. What we never realize is this type of kids is a bit more smarter that us adult.
