First there is not such a position, The Queen, as with all Monarchs after Queen Anne are crowned king or queen of Great Britain and anyone failing to mention this in answers is misleading you.

Princess Elizabeth as the Heiress Presumptive to the British &Commonwealth thrones & Duchess of Edinburgh used from 1947 to1952

Just before the wedding, the foreign prince Philip was created Duke of Edinburgh & granted the style His Royal Highness. Princess Elizabeth Duchess of Edinburgh married the Duke of Edinburgh. The Duke was not made a British Prince until 1957 but his official title remains Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duke of Edinburgh is subject to, in effect, the reverse of normal society in that he is married and has to adopt the name of the house he has married into. Not having inherited the crown he cannot be king.

The Queen has lineage in England and Scotland going back a thousand years for instance she is the 19th grandchild of King Robert the Bruce of Scotland. The queen relies for her position on Scottish Royal House of Stuart blood via the House of Hanover and Saxe Coburg etc. The Duke of Edinburgh also has some Stuart blood.

The last Monarch of England Queen Anne (and the previous five) were Scottish Royal House of Stuart.

Is a Duke a Queen's husband?

Not necessarily. A Queen's husband can be the king, if the king is the monarch. If the Queen is the monarch, then her husband could be a prince, but would not be the king. He could also have the title of Duke along with being a prince. For example, in England, the Queen's husband is Prince Phillip, and he also has the title of Duke of Edinburgh.
